Event poster for The Independent (Tampa, FL) celebrating a visit from Morgane Vanden Borre, Export Manager of Brouwerij Verhaeghe Vichte.

This project gave me the opportunity to work in a Bauhaus and New Typography aesthetic, drawing inspiration from Jan Tschichold's asymmetric grid systems and geometric sans-serif typography. The Belgian flag functions as both visual content and structural element, with the waving flag in the upper corner establishing the color blocking system for the entire composition.

The design uses bold lowercase type set at a diagonal to create movement and energy, paired with the Duchesse de Bourgogne bottle as a strong vertical anchor. The color palette pulls directly from the Belgian flag (black, yellow, red) which aligned perfectly with The Independent's existing brand colors.

Deliverables included 11x17 print poster, social media assets, and web banner.
